Yahoo, Take a Knee, and Sports Politics—The Leftist Slant of Modern Sports

Take a Knee, or Take the Money

 

Sports has its place—as does politics.

 

Rarely do the two mix.

 

The NFL began a “so-called” political movement, without considering the ramifications and consequences beforehand.

 

Some narrow-minded politicians jumped on the bandwagon, but they were short-sighted, as well.

 

Before, during, and after the fact, yahoo has been one of the influencers in promoting and pushing the leftist agenda in the sports industry, much as yahoo has been the central hub of all leftist movements and agendas in our country, for quite some time.

 

Now, because the fans’ have taken initiative and have expressed their outrage, yahoo and the NFL wish to shift their “so-called” political movement.

 

Today, I have witnessed three well-written articles on yahoo, regarding the NFL’s BS take a knee political movement, all of them stating polls that are reflecting the fan’s anger at the methods of the players (taking a knee during our national anthem, etc.) to pursue their agendas.

 

This is shocking because yahoo rarely releases well-written articles, choosing instead to release garbage, pseudo-journalism, fake and distorted news, and biased op-eds, most of the time.

 

So, imagine my shock when I read these succinct pieces gently explaining and, at times, even offering solutions to the problem the NFL is faced with.

 

Due to fans burning their merchandise, fans voicing their opinions, fans expressing their outrage to the sponsors of the NFL, and other sports—even threatening and staging boycotts of their products, unless they take a stand against the NFL players’ methods—the NFL is now exhibiting all the signs of remorse, and showing concern for how this entire fiasco has been handled.

 

I’m certain that most of the players didn’t even have the foggiest idea what the entire take a knee movement was all about, or the evil ideology it was based upon, when they bowed their knee and gave it homage.

 

Now that they have educated themselves and are having misgivings about the whole scene, they—and yahoo—are attempting to change the dialogue.

 

This is standard operating procedure (SOP) of the leftists—a ploy to twist, deform, and misrepresent a proven set of facts, thereby to cherry pick facts, and better push their ugly agendas.

 

Some of the players are now saying that they were protesting President Trump when they took a knee.  That is not what the take a knee movement is about, at all.

 

I know this because the leader of the take a knee movement, Colin Kaepernick, stated unequivocally what he was taking a knee for and what his action and movement stood for.

 

Here are his exact words:

 

“I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color,” Kaepernick told NFL Media in an exclusive interview after the game. “To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder.”

 

 

From the horse’s own mouth, he admits that the take a knee movement has nothing to do with our President, nor even police brutality, in its essence.

 

Kaepernick’s take a knee movement is directly aimed at our flag, our country, our entire USA culture.

 

It is a typical “go to” maneuver of the leftists.  When it doubt—hate the USA.

 

Kaepernick hates our USA culture—he only loves our USA money.

 

I believe the NFL, and its players, will eventually make a formal apology to the fans and our Country for their behavior.

 

Issuing a formal and public mea culpa is an acknowledgement mostly reserved for the politician, however, because of yahoo’s strategy and tactics of using modern sports to push their extreme, leftist agenda, the NFL has backed themselves into a corner they must extricate themselves from, or they will lose their livelihood.

This is what is terribly wrong with our Republic, and so dangerous to our liberty.

 

No, John McCain has not earned the right to do whatever he damn well pleases.  He is bound to serve his constituents, moreover, serve his country.

 

To portray this in an emotional way, or to interject friendship into the senatorial process is insane.

 

Senators and representatives are not in DC to back their friends or form personal bonds with others.

 

They are there to legislate.

 

While forming business bonds is a necessary process, personal bonds should be outside the confines of government.

 

John McCain ran, and was elected, on “Repeal and Replace” and he has repeatedly gone against the trust of those who elected him.

 

This is betrayal that should be condemned.

 

Take A Knee, Take the Money—The Pretense of the Take a Knee Movement

 

The Republic of the United States fought a war against racism which cost the lives and limbs of over of 800, 000 US Citizens.

 

No matter how many times liberals and leftists say it, their argument that the United States is systematically and institutionally racist does not hold water.

 

Nonetheless, let us reason together.

 

If they believe that the United States is systematically and institutionally racist, why are so many people willing to risk their lives to get here?

 

To go further, why do they remain here, for that matter?  Many of these USA-haters have the means to leave our country.  So then, why do they stay—if they believe that the United States is such a terrible and racist country?

 

Likewise, if they insist on believing that the United States is institutionally racist, how have we made so much progress and have so many minorities making a lot of money and succeeding here, including them?  How was a black president elected if the United States is so racist?

 

Let us continue with their argument.  If they believe that the United States is institutionally racist, for its 241 years of existence, then, certainly, they are part of the problem.

 

By their own admission—their argument has not worked.

 

Furthermore, if their argument has not worked, why are they still using the same argument to speak out against it?  I mean—why, on earth, are they still using the same argument if—by their own admission—racism is still ubiquitous throughout the USA culture?

 

Don’t they think it is time to create a “new dialogue” to combat the systematic racism they accuse our country of having?

 

How about showing us a new vision.  Because right now, all we are seeing is the same old rhetoric, the same old argument—over and over.

 

The NFL players have been convicted of many criminal offenses: wife and girlfriend beating, illegally carrying unregistered firearms, fighting in bars, assault and murder.  The list is endless.

 

We’ve seen it all before.

 

Then the liberals and the leftists say, “Don’t judge them by the actions of the few.”

 

But then the liberals and leftists turn around and judge the police force, as a whole, for the actions of a few cops.

 

A more compelling question is—Why take a knee?

 

Don’t they realize the symbolic significance to the act of bowing down their knee?

 

By taking a knee, essentially, they’re saying that the “white man” (that’s who their protest is targeted toward) is better and stronger than they are.

 

This message—in and of itself—is pure racism?

 

Racism is a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race.

 

The “take a knee” movement originated out of the “Black Lives Matter” organization.

 

Black Lives Matter is a racist group.

 

By signaling out skin-color, they are perpetrating the very racism they supposedly are against.

 

Black Lives Matter called for cop-hating and cop-killing.

 

Is that what the take a knee protesters stand for?

 

Many liberals are being deceived by entities who hate USA culture.  Rather than moving forward, they are moving backwards.

 

Here in the United States the saying goes: Put your money where your mouth is.

 

In that context, if the NFL players want to make a statement, how better than give up their money for their cause.

 

Why not give up their paychecks and donate all of their money to helping the people who they claim they care so much for?

 

They don’t do that.

 

Instead they take a knee… and then take the USA money.

Incalculable Singularity—A Creative Journey out of My Autistic Rage

I write in fear.

A storyteller tormented by a cataclysm fiercer than any conflict residing in the heart of my most intrepid hero.

Every word I write, every character I create, every plot I conceive—escapes out of the bottomless, endless abyss of my autistic soul.

The whirlwind of my imagination exists in this abyss—a void that traps and holds my vision and creative imagination, refusing to release the spirit of my stories without a battle of unspeakable dimensions.

It is because of this conflict that I am fearful.

For so long much of my life has been seized and held captive by the irresistible force of this interminable void.

Even now, after so many years of intense pressure and ache, I am compressed smaller and smaller into an emptiness of what once was, and what will be.

I am the same, unchanged by the spectacle of yesterday, unaltered by the vision of tomorrow.

Yet, within the clarity of a merciless vortex, I spin violently, moving at the speed of thought, warmed by an eternal light, destined to war against the only enemy able to defeat my invincibility—time.

Only by the grace of God do my stories manage to escape.  Only through his mercy is my imagination able to defeat such a violent fury.

I am joyful that my stories not only abscond such a cold prison, but they manage to gain life and take on significance in the minds of others.

I am the American Storyteller—a warrior poet who carves and engraves the words of honorable worlds, never before imagined, out of an icy reality absent of warmth or touch.

The fear I write and create with is the dread of the unknown lost, the lonely plea in the melody of the whip-poor-will, the cry of the starving child.

As my fingers tap the keys of my typewriter, their urgency increases.  My fingers tap the keys stronger, more frequent, until, at last, they pound on the keys the meaning of my life.  The implications and values residing in the echoing depths of my imaginings desperately claw to escape the endless void of my rage.

Often, I wish my mind could be free of such a ferocious abyss.  I wish autism’s cold vacuum did not encircle me and imprison my fresh creativity, holding captivity my incalculable singularity.

I suppose I am a miracle—a traveler who has navigated across, and through impossible places and arrived at a destination where Life and Truth tell an ancient love story across the Way of an infinite universe.

It is here—in the finite substance of my soul—where I tell a story of yesterday and today, of hero and villain, of unrelenting romance in faraway castles.

It is here—in the mortality of my flesh and blood—where I write military romance books, romantic fiction books, political romance novels, and even baseball romance books.

If I am to live with the curse of autism, then let my stories of love and life be my treasures, and my military romance and thriller novels be the cures for my disease.

I am the Great American Storyteller—and I have a story to tell.
